Not that I am aware of
Dan MorrellKeymasterDerek – do you have FTP access to your site?
Dan MorrellKeymasterAre you able to log in to Hamilton Site? the wp-login URL appears but the page remains totally blank.
Dan MorrellKeymasterI was assuming so, from reading your message, but I’ve no updated two other sites with no problem. Very mysterious! Will keep investigating…
Dan MorrellKeymasterPresumably might be affecting others as it seems to be a problem in the update.
Dan MorrellKeymasterHi Derek.
Am looking into this – sorry you’ve had the problem! Will come back with any news.
Thank you,
Rebecca.
Dan MorrellKeymasterJust been on to my personal site Hosts. They were able to remove the offending line – presumably line 1757 and all is well. It was trying to direct the site to an option that doesn’t exist.
This was their reply “I believe I have managed to sort via a line in one of the files included in the plugin, this was trying to define an option which must not be available, I simply removed the line which was causing errors on the admin area and now the page is displaying for me. this should be working correctly for you shortly also. “
Not sure if that helps!Dan MorrellKeymasterHello MsR
Just found your response…. but can’t find any HTML to edit!
AndyDan MorrellKeymasterNothing immediately apparent on their support site. Hmm.
Dan MorrellKeymasterHi Andy (and Andy). I’m not sure why your slider fonts have suddenly become enormous, but I do know how you can work round it fairly easily – it’s time to learn some html!
In your slider, in the box where you enter the text for the slide headline, wrap the text in some header tags – like this: the opening tag is
<h3>
and the closing tag is
</h3>This is for “header 3” style. I’ve done that to one of your slides on the Banktop site for you to see. You could have an experiment with h2 etc, to see what works best for you. What do you think?
Is that any help?
I suspect the problem is in how the sliders are set up and how they relate to theme options, though I’m not quite sure why it’s like this. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the next version has a fix for this. In fact, I’ll go over on to the theme developer’s site now and have a nosy.
Dan MorrellKeymasterWell enjoy those special moments – my fonts can wait a while!
Dan MorrellKeymasterCould be that you need the latest iChurch version. Would look into it more but have a ten month old asleep on my right arm.
Dan MorrellKeymasterI’ve moved this topic to the “plugins” category.
Dan MorrellKeymasterGlad to hear you’ve got it all sorted, Carole 🙂
Dan MorrellKeymasterJust in case anyone is deterred by my difficulties installing this plugin I have discovered that all my problems were caused by the other user on my site adding stuff at the same time as I was trying to install the Events Calendar. The maintenance screen hadn’t been activated. This plugin is excellent and not difficult to use (believe it or not!).
